My Mother, Margaret Johnson, was a resident at New Florence Nursing & Care Center until her death in 2005. She was quite ill, with various physical and mental problems, including, during her last months, colon cancer. She received beautiful treatment at NFCC. When away, I was confident that she was receiving the best care available to her. I will always be grateful to NFCC for making her last years pleasant for her.

I was transferred here from Boone Hospital after a fall, resulting in a broken hip which was operated on May 24th, 2016. I arrived to NFCC on May 30th for physical therapy, for which I feel I had an excellent team of therapists who worked with me 6 days a week. They were always pleasant even though I have groaned with some of the exercises. I felt all the staff here at NFCC was ready to help in anyway. They were caring & friendly & made my stay here pleasant. If I ever have need of a care center or rehabilitation again, I would come back here.

Thank you to Marsha Cope and all the wonderful nursing, housekeeping, dietary and maintenance staff for the warm homecoming shown to my Dad this weekend. It only took us 8 weeks away to realize that New Florence Care Center truly is "home" to each and every one of your residents. You all continue to go above and beyond industry standards in the care you deliver.

Having worked in the health care field over 20 years I know it takes special people to be able to do the jobs necessary. It takes angels to care for our older adults who are having major health issues. I experienced that kind of care at New Florence Care Center, when I needed your services in May 2016. I had major back surgery May 4th, 2016. I went to New Florence Care Center to recover and have rehabilitation for 18 days, until I felt I could manage at home by myself. The staff was very caring and helpful. The physical therapy team was also great. The nursing staff took very good care of me and very patient. If the need arose, I would return to NFCC and I would recommend this care facility to others. Again thank you everyone for all you did. I'm including physical therapy in that too.

My brother was at New Florence Nursing & Care Center in March & April of 2016 for the last 30 days of his life. He suffered mainly from Dementia, Alzheimer’s, & COPD. He required substantial care during this time and was placed on hospice. New Florence provided him with the most loving care I could ever have hoped for. Everyone on the staff was so friendly towards us and him in the last days. They were especially attentive to his particular needs. Thank you New Florence for the caring and personal consideration.
